Passion

I practice a heart-centered, holistic approach to healing and transformation. I'm committed to a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Although change can be difficult, confusing, and scary, you do not have to do it alone.  I'm walking right beside you, believing in you, supporting you, guiding you, and creating with you what you want in your life.

A wise fisherman once told me "If one wants to catch a fish, one must cast out into the darkness and reel steadily into the light." As we fished, I could hear him chanting, "out into the darkness and into the light, out into the darkness and into the light." This became a powerful mantra for me in both my personal and professional life for true, authentic change, and fueled my desire to dance outside of my comfort zone and really stretch myself to master new parts of me.

Philosophy

My passion is teaching people how to love themselves and empowering them to heal themselves, so that they may live in their full and total magnificence. Once the power of self-love is discovered and deeply cared for, one will find it becomes possible to care more profoundly about others. As Eda LaShan quotes, "The more alert and sensitive we are to our own needs, the more loving and generous we can be toward others."

Testimonials

I believe people are living, moving, breathing art: the lead actors in a series of movie clips or scenes on a stage, with the opportunity, choice, and free will to play the hero, heroine, or any other character. We're always doing the best we can with the resources we have and with good intentions. We all have the solutions within us to heal ourselves, overcome obstacles and challenging situations, and live enjoyable lives.

Practice

"In the first 30 seconds, I knew this was for me. Marisa radiated love, kindness and compassion. She helped me to see what I couldn't see in myself to move forward. Marisa has amazing listening skills and gave me tools to use, so I can be the very best for myself and others. Today, I am healthy, radiant and full of passion! I own my own home-based business, which fuels my soul and gives me freedom."                                 -Paula, business owner
