Conscious Mind

The Conscious Mind is like a computer monitor screen. Just as you are able to view and access in-the-moment, live information by a click of the mouse, so too is the Conscious Mind aware of  "now."

The Conscious Mind is logical, linear, and sequential. It organizes information similarly to the way a computer monitor displays tabs at the top of your screen, in the order that you open and close them.

The Conscious Mind can only  attend to 7 + or -2 chunks of information at a given time (Neuro-Energetics, 1993).
